I successfully made it to the Florida Alliance for Renewable energy conference on the topic, "Effective Renewable Energy Policies" on my bike and public transit!!!!
the conference is at the Doubletree Hotel at 101 S Adams Street, Noon to 7pm, Feb 3rd, 2009.
I have traveled since jan 18th, the entire coast of Florida. I began in Orlando then to Miami - Fort Meyers - Tampa - now I am in Tallahassee!

I thought Jimmy Carter had the right idea when he was promoting energy conservation back in the 70's. I guess Americans just didn't think it was too important because we put Ronald Regan into office and tried the trickle down theory of economics. Well, the American market did not find Renewable energy, conservation, or global warming very profitable so we myopically refused to advance too far in a different direction.
