The testing of the 38 inch Energy Prophecy Against the 38 Inch Wind Turbine will be delayed. The 38 inch Energy Prophecy Is up and turning, but my lacking engineering skills once again have created a problem. The plate design to turn the Generator suffered metal failer. The Prototype is turning free and not turning the Generator. My 38 Inch Wind Turbine which also experienced the same fate is in pieces after the high winds. I will need to redesign the power transfer for both Proto... Read More
I got my first response from the US Patent Office and I'm not sure if it is good or bad news. The bad news is that in 1911 Charles F Craddick received patent #1009896 on a Turbine Apperatus similar in design to the Energy Prophecy. You can look up patent #1009896 on Google Patent. The good news is that the Craddick Turbine Apperatus works with propeller blades that cut through the wind. The Energy Prophecy low-Wind Turbine catches the wind on top like a sailboat while the si... Read More
Do you have a fav web site for industry news?
I have been thinking about the fact that the poorest people in the World often live on areas with poor soil.(shifting sand) I have been formulating a concept of using the Energy Prophecy to create a raised Biosphere in the dessert. The Energy Prophecy would supply water and cooling to the support life in the Biosphere. It is just one of my pipe dreams at this time. There are so many questions and possibilities to consider. First it would have to be a secure location. The project would h... Read More
I have good news and bad news from the Advanced Energy Testing Site. The bad news is one of my Wind Turbine Blades came off in the 50 Mile-an-hour winds. The good news is the four Energy Prophecy Blades that were up an spinning are completely intacked. I have had a lot of practice building Energy Prophecy that fail in high wind condision. This time I over build the prototype and it came thru the high winds with no damage. I am busy painting the blades all beautiful, because it has been... Read More
