Currently I am raising my grandchildren while my daughter continues her college education and works full time as a teacher in elementary education. I also take care of my mom who has Alztheimers... I stay very busy and don't have nearly enough time to work more diligently on energy alternatives.

I love children and animals, and love being outdoors. I have grown up on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and enjoy any water activities. I love going to the river in our beautiful Texas hill country. I love gardening as it allows me to relax a bit.. I also have a fondness (maybe too fond) for slot machines..

Classical rock and country both..

I have great interest in non fiction books of all topics..

I don't ever go to the movies. I do watch TCM on TV occassionally, it takes me back to a kinder, gentler, simpilier era...

I was born and raised in the great state of Texas. I love my state and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I am very concerned with the country's "deep do" situation. I didn't vote for Obama but support him and wish him all the best. I hope that he can get this country back on it's feet. I think that we need (the country) to get on a budget, just like every household is, and stick to it. I don't think we should be sending money right now to other countries until we get our country back in order. I think we need to "clean house" in Washington and recruit some of the brilliant, everyday folks with common sense and moral values. I am very opinionated as I'm sure you can tell but I believe in what I think and say. I wish that we as a country could get back to a simpiler time and wish that we didn't all strive for instant gratification and, place blame on someone other than ourself....

Wind and Solar power are of great interest to me. Algae fuel is also very interesting..
