Due to this site's unwillingness to stop spammers, and the automatic friend request for new users, I delete ALL friend requests. I also check forums and blogs occasionally and report spam (not that does any good on this site!)

1. Ending the combustion of all forms of fossil carbon: coal, petroleum, natural gas. These are ok as raw materials but not fuels! Natural gas from biomass digesters and landfills doesn't adversely effect the CO2 levels in the air, in fact burning CH4 from wastes is less greenhouse than letting it escape into the air.
2. Preventing food sources from being diverted to fuel. Waste vegetable oil is ok because it has already served its food function.
To these ends I intend to work on DIVERSE forms and locations of renewable energy and other resource development and disposal.
3. finding methods of storing energy from when it is available (daytime and when the wind is blowing) till it is needed (after sunset on a hot humid August evening when it is dead still)
We must not just find one source for energy like solar or wind, but several. Also find ways to use less, store it from when it is avalable till it is needed, (fossil fuels have that naturally, they have been stored by nature for thousands of years) and transport it without doing even more ecological damage.
