Some good info here! I've been toying with the idea myself but was a little intimidated by the technical details. In my case half the work has been done because of an abundance of old stock-well windmills available practically just for the asking. Shouldn't be too hard to convert one from mechanical pumping to electrical generating. Thanks folks.

Good advise grizz,

The best way to size an inverotor is to contact an invertor company and give them the data for the turbine. It is very inportant to match the turbine output data to the invertor.
