I did some pretesting of the 14 inch wind turbine under the high torque situation. It would not spin even after I gave it a running start. I backed down the gear ratio to a point that the Wind Turbine had enough torque to turn it generator properly. I will change the test to check performance at increasing gear ratios. I have started putting together the 14 Inch Energy Prophecy for the testing. It will have 24 6 inch tapered blade mounted 1 inch up it mounting pole.(2 1/2" on bottom,3 1/2" on top) ackerman18
