Bio Hydraulic Fluids
Posted On 10/19/2008 02:26 PM by jbessette90

With the acceleration of the planets warming over the next ten to twenty years our water supply will become of principle importance. We need to mediate the toxic effects of 100 million gallons of hydraulic fluid dripping on North America every year by helping industry transition to bio hydraulic fluids. One drop of used hydraulic oil can contaminate 50 gallons of drinking water and the overall reduction in environmental impact from a conversion to bio hydraulics is immediate and sustainable.

Meeting Rapidly Growing Demand - Corporate sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of industrial operations are underway at nearly every large corporation in the world. Rising consumer fuel and food costs are driving demand for environmentally conscious products from organic food to green power. Independent research studies have shown that such demand growth could result in over half of the lubricants market converting to biolubricants.

Ballard Biofuel's mission is to provide the highest quality bio hydraulic fluids to help industry transition to twenty-first century lubricity. To this end we provide the highest quality biolubricants for every industrial application to any place in the world. Our hope is to spearhead this transition in the industrial world so has to create a pathway for biolubricants in everyday life. Bio hydraulic fluids are currently being sold in European markets. Ballard Biofuel's lubricants are certified in Europe as 100% biodegradable under higher standards than exist in the US.
