The overweight 38 inch Energy Prophecy Prototype sheared off another 1/2 inch deck lag bolt. These lag bolts are designed for heavy loads on decks. I have had them break on other prototypes in the past and I will have to find something stronger to use. It must be the combination of torque,weight and movement that makes them fail. It is December in Minnesota and I will need to start over from scratch in the spring on the 38 inch wind testing project. I am going to move my testing back in doors and do some high torque situation testing. I will build a small Wind Turbine prototype and a small Energy Prophecy Prototypes with the same length blades. I am not sure if a Wind Turbine Will turn at any wind speed under such a high torque situation. I am still working massive overtime as the flower boy wonder so I can not give you a time table on when the testing will start. ackerman18
