None now! Whoohoo!
Currently caring for (and trying to adopt out) my IZA's pups. She's the dark one Rottweiller with Black and Tan coonhound (a foundling given to me by neighbors after loss of my other two). My other old dog Sheila (my grumpy old bitch) She is about 14 years and was wandering homeless and with bad leg. She now jumps up a bit yet has seen better days. I took her home knowing I'd have to take her on that 'long walk' fairly soon. Even though she growls at the pups, I've seen her grooming them too.
Organic gardening. Gathered local herbs (some transplanted), ordering other plants/seeds. Working toward heirloom veggies and fruits. Will deviate a bit with the dwarf version of warm zoned fruits (otherwise unsuited to southeastern Ohio temps).

Interested in an outdoor kitchen of COB - for summer canning and cooking into fall (to keep house cooler too)!
First small solar panel going up this spring for led lights in outbuilding (done of ferro-cement). Small panel is my first attempt at DIY.
I am a big city girl (Chicago) moved to the country boondocks. Don't miss the city much at all.

Solar and wind.
Working toward going off grid.
Most difficult will be a water holding when switching from juice pump to solar happy pump. (holding tank for the weak hours of sun or lack of wind to run pump out of artesian well (the water is from an underground river - not an actual cistern type well).
Still dreaming of coffee grinder (human powered) while locally it is difficult to find whole beans. Grocer here seems to take the leftovers from the big city stores (at witnessed at the meat and produce counter. Never mind the addtitives in our meat supply, the fair offered at our local grocer would turn you on to wild game!

Oh, not many here!

Locally: drive down the gravel roads and spot mini dumps as people tend to toss trash (from cars, tyres and other oddities) down the hillside. Some actually bulldoze over. Recently, outhouses have been outlawed! Mine still stands as it leans like a recliner and basically used for storage. Soon to be towed to a bonfire!
There are recycle bins down in one of the towns 4 miles away, but those are collection bins for some business who wishes for 'free' materials. Not many people use them. Every time I've dumped my plastic or glass, they have been near empty.
I save my glass bottles now, as I will embed them in COB for ambient light. Used a few in my cobbed in window where I embedded my wood burner's flue for a fireproof exit from the house. (no need for double or triple insulated pipe! no major carpentry or roof re-doing and a CHEAP yet safe way to do it).
